Scrolls of Summoning
Basic Concept
Introduced to the game on the 18th of March around 18:00 UTC, this item is essentially the bloodline complement of the Scroll of Succour: Whereas Succour scrolls allow childer to teleport to their sire, Summoning scrolls allow the sire to summon their child to their location.
There is no complement for companions; partners will have to continue to rely on Scrolls of Succour to reach each other.
There is no blood threshold to use them?.
Use
To summon a childe, their name must be entered into a text box. Take care typing the name, since if you typo the name or end up trying to summon someone that is not your childe, the scroll will simply be consumed by flame.
Anti-Abuse
To mitigate abuse, a summoned childe has the option to completely sever from their sire for 500 blood (or all their blood, should they have less) at first page load thereafter?. This makes severing by summoning scroll considerably cheaper than doing so with the Hall of Severance (which charges 1 000 blood and 50 000 coins), though a sire willing to let a childe reduce costs can sever the childe at no cost but for a single AP used to process it at the Hall itself.
Additionally, being summoned does not count as a move for the childe.
